The People Behind Baobab Pathways
Emmanuel Aklamati, PhD, MPH, MPhil
Co-Founder | Data, Epidemiology & Population Health
Emmanuel is an epidemiologist and data analyst with expertise in surveillance, data management, data transformation, record linkage, data analysis and interpretation of complex health data. His work has spanned surveillance analytics, data linkage, and applied data analysis, with a focus on translating data into insights that inform program planning, evaluation, and policy development.
Emmanuel holds a Doctoral degree in Nutritional Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Public Health Research Methods from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. His technical expertise include data transformation, statistical analysis, data linkage, and interpretation of findings for programmatic and policy decision-making.
At Baobab Pathways, Emmanuel brings this analytical and epidemiologic perspective to program evaluation, data and decision support, and the development of evidence-informed solutions for mission-driven organizations.
Eva Aklamati-Darko, MPH, MCHES, PMI-ACP
Co-Founder | Strategy, Program Development & Implementation
Eva is a public health and healthcare transformation professional with extensive experience leading complex initiatives across healthcare and public-sector organizations. A former U.S. Air Force Officer, she brings a leadership perspective grounded in strategy, systems thinking, accountability, and mission-focused execution.
She holds a Master of Public Health in Population and Family Health from the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University, and has built her career at the intersection of public health, program strategy, implementation, organizational change, and communications. Her work focuses on translating complex challenges into practical, actionable solutions; aligning stakeholders; and building the capacity organizations need to sustain meaningful results.
